Forging Friendships

Firehouse Ironworks Ltd., as home forge for the Cape Breton Blacksmiths Association, held the 3rd annual open forge event called Forging Friendships on October 11th and 12th, as part of the Celtic Colours International Festival. Members of the Cape Breton Blacksmiths Association demonstrated blacksmithing for over 110 visitors. We also offered opportunities for people to take a 45 minute introduction course. Read more
